Gates Camrbidge Scholars are academically outstanding students who show leadership potential, a commitment to improving the lives of others and a good academic fit with Cambridge. They are international and pursue a wide range of academic subjects at Cambridge. Our Alumni are spread throughout the world and pursue a multitude of careers.

- Between 2001 and 2010 1,074 Gates Camrbidge Scholars from 94 countries
- 90 new scholarships awarded each year: 40 of which are awarded to US citizens in the first selection round, 50 in th second international round
- c. 230 Scholars from over 50 countries in Cambridge
- Over 800 alumni from over 80 countries spread throughout the world
