The Gates Cambridge Trust has a distinguished board of Trustees who decide on the overall direction of the Trust and the scholarships programme. Two Trustees are appointed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and five are appointed by the University of Cambridge. The current Trustees are:
The management of the Trust is carried out by four officers. The Provost (CEO) has overall responsibility for the scholarship programme and works with the Treasurer, the Secretary and the Executive Officer to ensure the effective running of the Trust’s activities. The current Officers are:
